Serves 3 - 4
500g fine mince
2 tablespoons tomato paste
500ml crushed tomatoes
2 peeled & grated carrots
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
Place into the Bowl - select speed 5, for 10 seconds, scrape down.
ADD 1 tablespoon olive oil – sauté at temperature of 100ºC, select speed 1, for 1 minute.
ADD – 500g fine mince (crumble the mince as you add).
cook at speed 1, select 100ºC, for 5 minutes, leave the Measuring Cup off to allow steam
ADD – 2 tablespoons tomato paste – continue cooking at 100ºC, select speed 1, for 1
minute – make sure the Measuring Cup is in place.
Insert the Mixing Tool onto center of the Stirring Blade – press down until it clicks into place.
ADD – 500ml of crushed tomatoes, sugar, dried oregano and basil, pepper and salt to
taste – continue cooking at 70ºC, select speed 1, for 10minutes.
ADD – 2 peeled and grated carrots – cook at a speed 1, select 70ºC for 10 minutes.
Serve with rice or spaghetti.
